Downtown Melbourne

Mary Ann and David's trip to Australia in July 1999

Flinders Street Train Station

Walking down St. Kilda Road you pass the National Gallery. This piece of art is outside in front of the gallery. Someone should trim those trees.

Kings Domain Gardens. A peaceful place to stop and contemplate. The Governors House is near by, but we just saw the front gate.

St. Paul's Cathedral (Anglican) was one of many large churches. The Shrine of Remembrance in Kings Domain Gardens is a War Memorial for all Australians who have fought.
